Accomplishments to date - 2012 - 2013 School Year

- Ran a successful fall Membership Drive

- Funded new Athletic Banners for MHS

- Launched a new website

- Sold concessions during Football and Basketball seasons and continuing for lacrosse

- Provided Pep-Rally Warrior T-shirts to ALL students

- Arranged seven Italian Groceria fundraisers for MHS school groups

- Treated MHS teachers and staff to Appreciation Luncheons in October and December

- Provided funds for 10 teachers to attend the N. E. Assoc of Teachers of English conference

- Funded a day of visiting artist workshops for over 200 students

- Hosted two Coffees with the Principal

- Granted funds for the Athletic Trainer to attend a Nutrition Seminar to improve coursework and advise student athletes

- Generated profits through the sale of Scrip

- Topped 150 in Facebook friends

- And then there’s the All Night Grad Party committee who organized – Planning themes, activities and food; a Donation Drive; Subway Fundraisers; Decorating Workshops; and the Fashion Show Fundraiser.

Opening for PTO Co-President position

The PTO is looking for a Co-President beginning in the Fall of 2013. Can you help? This two-year volunteer role averages 3-4 hours each month. Shared responsibilities include running monthly meetings (most at night), writing monthly newsletter blurbs, and committee supervision when needed. The Co-President also serves as a liaison for the PTO with the principal and high school staff. The first year is largely training with the existing Co-President.
